Executive Chef - Mark Evans
Born in Manchester, Mark moved with his family to Australia when he was 13 years old and soon developed a passion for cooking. At the age of 15 he started working in professional kitchens.

Mark gained a wealth of experience training in some of the most acclaimed restaurants in New Zealand and Australia, working for the likes of Neil Parry and John Subritzsky.

Since returning to the UK, Mark has been the head chef of traditional English restaurants and since taking over the Mulberry in 2006, his personal style of cooking has flourished. At both the Mulberry and sister pub the Lickfold Inn he has created menus which are inspired by his time down under whilst using the best of English produce.
